This burial ground spans four generations: Yeongsan-gun, Yi Jeon, the 13th son of King Seongjong, the ninth king of Joseon; his son Jangheung-gun, Yi Sang; his grandson Yi Gyeong-ui; and his great-grandson Yi Jong. It clearly shows the changes in burial customs from the 16th to the 17th century. In particular, the burial ground of Yi Jeon, together with the stone figures attached to it, including stone statues of civil officials and a stone lantern, are typical examples of the forms of their period and are of great academic value; for this reason the site is designated a monument and preserved.
