Inbo-ri Dolmen Group
인보리지석묘군 · 仁甫里支石墓群

Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThe Inbo-ri dolmen group is located at the end of a ridge extending southeast from Baegunsan Mountain. This area lies along the route connecting Eonyang to Gyeongju, and many pieces of plain, undecorated pottery are said to have been found on the ridges around the site. Only two dolmens remain today, though there were probably more originally. Dolmens No. 1 and No. 2 lie about 2 m apart, with their capstones set flat on the ground. The capstones are of granite: No. 1 measures about 350 cm in length, 190 cm in width and 140 cm in thickness, while No. 2 measures about 270 cm in length, 160 cm in width and 150 cm in thickness. As no supporting stones have been identified, these are presumed to be gaeseok-type dolmens, in which the capstone covers the burial chamber directly without visible support stones above ground. This dolmen group provides important material for studying the politics, society and culture of the Duseo region during the Bronze Age.
