Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThis is a Bronze Age and Proto-Three Kingdoms period site situated on a low hill within the area set aside for park development inside a housing-site development district in Noeun-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. At this site, dwelling remains were in some cases already exposed at the surface, and excavation showed that the density of remains was not especially high. Twelve Bronze Age dwelling remains were identified running along the line of the hill, and at its northern end a Songguk-ri-type circular dwelling and a rectangular dwelling were investigated. These are rectangular in plan, built directly on the flat ground with posts set straight into it, and double-rimmed pottery and pottery with perforated decoration were excavated from them. For the Proto-Three Kingdoms period, 14 dwellings, rectangular or oblong in plan, were investigated around the hill, along with the remains of a structure of complex form thought to have been a raised-floor building.
