This site, the Boru Pavilion on Baebongsan Mountain, lies at the summit of the mountain. Though smaller than the neighbouring group of boru, military forts, it retains its wall foundations well and is the first Goguryeo defensive site confirmed west of the Jungnangcheon Stream. It is closely related, in construction technique, to the boru on Achasan, Yongmasan, and Mangusan mountains east of the Jungnangcheon, making it an important site for understanding the historical circumstances of the Three Kingdoms in the ancient Seoul region.
