This is a bo (a weir built to dam water for irrigating paddies), a watercourse about 1km long running from Suha-ri, Seoseok-myeon to Mulgeol-ri, Naechon-myeon. On a cliff face of the mountain alongside the watercourse is an inscription reading 'Boju Kim Gun-bo' (the owner of the weir, Kim Gun-bo), suggesting that Kim Gun-bo built it himself using his own wealth. Said to have been built more than 200 years ago, this weir is an agricultural relic associated with the settlement and development of the Mulgeol-ri area of Naechon-myeon, Hongcheon-gun, and shows relatively well the form of irrigation and water-management facilities of the late Joseon period.
