Yi Dong-nyeong Birthplace Site

This is the birthplace of the independence activist Seok-o Yi Dong-nyeong (1869–1940). The L-shaped main house (anchae) is centred on a three-bay wooden-floored hall (daecheongmaru), with one room on either side of it. Three-bay wings extend from the east and west ends of the main house, used as rooms and a kitchen. The gate quarters (daemungan-chae), which face west, consist of five bays: the two central bays are floored with wooden planks, with one room on either side.
