This is an inscription carved into nine spots of natural rock in the Nogosan valley, Samha-ri, Jangheung-myeon, Yangju, Gyeonggi Province. Among the various inscriptions, one can be attributed to a named writer: a large piece of writing in semi-cursive script, about 50cm in vertical length, reading "夢齋" (Mongjae), carries at its end the signature "秋史" (Chusa), allowing it to be identified as the calligraphy of Kim Jeong-hui (1786–1856), sobriquet Chusa, a celebrated literatus and calligrapher of the late Joseon period. Also found here, besides Chusa's writing, is the inscription "眉叟先生杖履之所", meaning "the place where Master Misu rested his walking stick", and nearby, writing in the style of Misu reading "Yi Si-seon", "Imsul" and "Dokjaedong", suggesting that these were made by Yi Si-seon, a disciple of Heo Mok, sobriquet Misu. Other inscriptions in differing hands also survive whose writers cannot be identified: those in regular script reading "流磨瀑" (Yumapok), "萬懿窩" (Manuiwa) and "忠恕勤" (Chungseogeun), and one in clerical script reading "可濯泉" (Gataekcheon).
