This is the site of Dorimsa Temple, on a south-facing hillside valley of Chilgapsan Mountain. According to the Dongguk yeoji seungnam, Dorimsa is thought to have been a temple of the Goryeo period, and roof-tile fragments found in the vicinity suggest it continued in use into the Joseon period. Within the temple site stand the Three-Storey Stone Pagoda of Dorimsa Temple Site (a Chungcheongnam-do Tangible Cultural Heritage) and a standing stone Buddha whose upper body has been damaged; both are thought to date from the Goryeo period. Roof tiles and sari reliquaries (containers for Buddhist relics) found during dismantling and repair work in 1973 are now kept at the Buyeo National Museum.
