These are tombs distributed along the top of the ridge opposite Homi Mountain Fortress. At present, about 30 large tombs with visible mounds can be seen, and it is presumed that many more small tombs exist in the surrounding area. The structures include a mixture of vertical pit-type and horizontal entrance-type tombs, and it appears there are also multiple-chamber tombs containing two or more stone-lined chambers within a single mound. Inside, the tombs follow the typical Gaya burial form, with the inner walls neatly built up using cut stones. Judging from the artefacts recovered in the area and the structure of the tombs, they are estimated to have been built between the late 5th and early 6th centuries. The tombs at Jukjeon-ri, Uiryeong, are an important site, providing valuable material not only for the study of Gaya tombs in this region but also for clarifying the society of the time.
