Seongjeomsanseong Fortress, Haman
함안 성점산성 · 咸安 城岾山城

Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThis mountain fortress, in Bukchon-ri, Haman-myeon, Haman-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, encloses a valley and follows the surrounding ridgeline in an irregular shape. It is a large-scale fortress with a circumference of about 1.7km; its south-western wall was built by facing the outer side with stone while the inside was filled with earth and rubble. No record or artefact has been found to show when it was built, but its construction method is identical to that of the nearby Seongsansanseong and Munansanseong fortresses. Judging from pottery and roof-tile fragments found within the fortress, it is thought that it may date back as far as the Unified Silla period.
