This is a family burial ground containing more than 600 graves of Yun Beon (1384–1448), posthumously titled Lord Jeongjeong, father of Queen Jeonghui, consort of King Sejo, and his descendants. It includes the graves of Yun Beon; Yun Yeo-pil, father of Queen Janggyeong, consort of King Jungjong; and Yun Ji-im, father of Queen Munjeong, consort of King Jungjong. Yun Beon's grave takes the form of a single mound bordered by a square arrangement of stones. The mound reflects the burial customs of the early Joseon period, and its stone furnishings are a mixture of old and newer pieces. Among them the most important is the grave marker, erected in 1448 (the 30th year of King Sejong); it is of the "round-headed, square-based" type, with a rounded capstone and a square base. Below Yun Beon's grave lies the grave of his wife, Lady Yi of Incheon, whose burial arrangement and stone furnishings are of superior quality. As with Yun Beon's grave, the mound is bordered by square-cut stones, and the mound itself is large in scale. The grave marker is of the "bevel-headed, square-based" type, with a capstone whose upper corners are chamfered and a square base; it was erected in 1456 (the second year of King Sejo), following a state funeral. Surviving early stone furnishings include an offering table, a stone lantern and stone figures, all larger, more finely carved and of better-quality stone than those at Yun Beon's grave, because Lady Yi's grave was built after King Sejo's accession to the throne. The stone lantern in particular is imposing and structurally stable, and is an outstanding example of early Joseon stone craftsmanship. This burial ground is significant as a place where the changing styles of graves and stone furnishings from the early to the late Joseon period can be seen at a glance. As the graves of a queen's parents, it is an important site for comparing the quality of stone furnishings associated with the royal family, and it is a valuable cultural heritage site holding outstanding stone carvings.
