This is a group of two tumuli on a ridge at about 20 m above sea level, part of a mountain spur running south from Chopo Mountain northwest of Wolgye Village. Tomb No. 1 is a janggobun, or drum-shaped tomb, whose plan combines both a square section and a round section; Tomb No. 2 is circular in plan. Tomb No. 1 lies on a ridge that descends gently from northwest to southeast, with its square section positioned at the upper end of the ridge. The southeast side of its round section has been somewhat altered by later private graves, and the northwest side of the square section has been damaged by the creation of a road. Tomb No. 2, a round tumulus, lies below Tomb No. 1 to the southeast. Although the shape of Tomb No. 1 has been somewhat altered over the years, it still shows the drum-shaped form clearly, and Tomb No. 2 is likely to be a stone-chamber tomb, judging from the number of stones exposed in the surrounding area.
