Yeongam Geumgangnigeumsan Mountain Tumuli
영암금강리금산고분군 · 靈巖錦江里錦山古墳群

The mountain ridge running south from Geumseongsan Mountain rises again to form the summit of an isolated hill, and the tumuli are located there. The hill on which the tumuli stand is steep on its northern side and slopes gently down to the south; Tomb No. 1 sits at the summit, and Tomb No. 2 lies a short distance to the northwest. Tomb No. 1 appears to have been somewhat altered, since the surrounding land has been cleared for fields and a maple tree has been planted at its entrance, but the damage is not severe and its form survives relatively well. According to local residents, this round tomb contained a stone-chamber burial large enough to hold three or four people. Tomb No. 2, to the northwest of Tomb No. 1, is also round in shape.
