This is the burial ground of Gwon Gyu (權跬, 1393–1421), posthumous title Jegangong, son-in-law (buma) of King Taejong of Joseon, and his wife Princess Gyeongan (慶安宮主, 1393–1415). Gwon Gyu was the third son of Gwon Geun, Lord Gilchang (吉昌君); in 1403 he married King Taejong's third daughter, Princess Gyeongan, and was enfeoffed as Lord Gilcheon (吉川君). The burial ground consists of two mounds arranged one above the other: Gwon Gyu's mound lies above, and Princess Gyeongan's below. Because the site is steep, a stone retaining wall was built on the north side, and traces remain on either side of a gokjang, a low curved boundary wall enclosing a grave. Each mound was also built on two terraces, with gyecheseok (stone steps) installed. Each mound is surrounded by an octagonal hoseok, a border stone made of long dressed stones. In front of each mound stands a grave marker with a hayeopsu (lotus-leaf-shaped) capstone, together with a stone offering table. In front of Princess Gyeongan's mound stand two pairs of munin-seok (stone civil-official statues), along with a pair of stone lanterns installed in modern times. The shape of the mounds, the form of the gokjang and the number of munin-seok statues all clearly reflect the burial customs of the early fifteenth century.
