Yeonggwang Daemaseongsan-ri Dolmen Group

Seongsan Village, situated at the foot of Gitjae Pass on National Route 816 heading from Yeonggwang towards Samgye in Jangseong, lies at the base of a hillside, with low, flat hills extending to the village's north. The dolmens stand amid paddy fields on a gently sloping, level plain in front of the village, arranged in long rows running east to west. Some of the capstones are badly damaged, but most are between 40 and 70cm thick; four capstones are 100cm or more in thickness, and the largest measures 560cm by 430cm, with a thickness of 100cm.
