Yun Je-hyeong House

The house stands among the old houses of the Yun family, including that of former President Yun Bo-seon, and is entered through a shared sotdaemun (raised central gate). Its L-shaped anchae (main house) and reverse-L-shaped sarangchae (men's quarters) combine to form a layout in the shape of an open square. The anchae has an L-shaped toenmaru (narrow wooden veranda) giving access to each room, while the sarangchae has a toekan (extended eave bay) across its three left-hand bays, floored with wood and arranged to command a view of the surroundings.
