This is the head house (jongtaek) of Yangsodang Kim Yeong-su (1446–1502), a civil official of the reign of King Seongjong of Joseon. Kim Yeong-su was a descendant of Taesa Kim Haeng, and served as Jangnyeong (Inspector) of the Office of the Inspector-General (Saheonbu). The house is built in a square (ㅁ-shaped) plan consisting of a main hall and a sarangchae (men's quarters). The sarangchae has a room on the left and a wooden-floored hall on the right, which could be used as a ritual space (jecheong) for ancestral rites.
