This is a jaesa, a ritual hall built to protect and tend the tomb of Kim Cheol, styled Daebak, who raised a righteous army during the Japanese invasions of 1592–98 and distinguished himself in the defence of Andong fortress. Built in the mid-Joseon period, the hall is arranged around a central jeongchim, the room where ancestral rites are held, flanked by buildings to its left and right, with a five-bay pavilion set in front, together forming a square, courtyard-type layout. It originally stood in Sauidong, Imha-myeon, but was relocated here in 1987 when the Imha Dam was built.
