This shrine was built to hold ancestral rites for Garip Gwon Sim-haeng (1517–1565). The four front pillars of the central building are entasis columns, slightly swollen in the middle, while the remaining pillars are square in section. The roof is a hip-and-gable (paljak) roof, forming the shape of the character 八 (meaning "eight") when viewed from the side. The building to the left contains a kitchen and rooms, while the building to the right is a two-storey pavilion; both of these have gable (matbae) roofs, forming the shape of the character 人 (meaning "person") when viewed from the side. The exact date of construction is not known, but on the basis of its building techniques it is estimated to have been built about 150 years ago.
