Daenamdaek House in Goesi-dong, Yeongdeok
KOGL Type 1Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.kr

This house stands in Hojimaeul, a clan village of the Yeongyang Nam clan, and is said to have been built in 1776, the 52nd year of King Yeongjo of Joseon, by Nam Jun-hyeong. Records state that it was repaired in a sinhae year — a year named by the traditional sexagenary cycle — but the exact date cannot be determined. The building measures four kan across the front and six-and-a-half kan along the side, a kan being the traditional unit of length measured between pillars.
