This house was built by Nam Yu-jin, great-grandson of Nam Taek-man. The exact date of construction is unknown, but it was rebuilt around 1920 and has survived in that form to the present. It measures five kan across the front and six-and-a-half kan along the side, with a square, ㅁ-shaped floor plan. It is made up of a jeongchim (main hall), a gobang-jungmun (a storeroom combined with a middle gate) and a sarang (men's quarters), and reflects the residential style of the late Joseon period.
