Yogeunji, a pond at Bupyeong Elementary School in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, stands together with Eosadae, a platform said to have been used for royal archery, to the east of the school. Originally built elsewhere, it was moved to its present site when rebuilt in 1887, the 24th year of Emperor Gojong. It is a stone-lined pond measuring 18 m by 16 m. At its centre is a stone mound 7 m in circumference, planted with grass and trees and linked to the south bank by a bridge. Among the stones piled up on the east side of the pond is one inscribed with a record of the 1887 reconstruction. It is said that in 1797, the 21st year of King Jeongjo, the king paid homage at Jangneung Royal Tomb in Gimpo and then travelled by way of Bupyeong to Hyeollyungwon in Suwon, where his biological father was enshrined. At that time he is believed to have rested briefly in Bupyeong, shooting arrows and washing his hands at this site.
