Cultural Heritage Material

Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThis granite pagoda has lost much of its roof stones to damage. The pagoda stands only 130 cm tall overall. On a nearly square base stone sits a central pedestal stone, recently repaired with cement, topped by an upper pedestal stone and a three-story pagoda body. Each roof stone and the body stone beneath it are carved from a single block of stone, the underside of each roof stone has three stepped eaves-supports, and the eaves curve slightly upward at the corners. The finial section consists only of a round dew-basin stone, but a hole at its centre suggests that a finial ornament was originally present.
