This is the site of the former house of Go Gyeong-myeong, a righteous army commander who died in the Battle of Geumsan during the Japanese invasions of Korea (Imjin War). The present house was built in 1917 by Go Jong-seok, the great-grandfather of Go Won-hui. It now consists of a men's quarters, a women's quarters, a storehouse and an ancestral shrine, though it is said that more buildings originally stood on the site. The shrine houses a bujomyo, a shrine exempted from the usual rule of removing ancestral tablets after four generations, enshrining the spirit tablets of Go Gyeong-myeong and his sons Jong-hu and In-hu.
