Gimyeoonui Tomb

This is the tomb of General Kim Yeo-on (1550-1592), a military official of mid-Joseon. The general was born in 1550, the fifth year of King Myeongjong, in Gongju, and held various official posts. He later served at the Yemungwan, the office in charge of royal documents, and when the Imjin War broke out in 1592, the 25th year of King Seonjo, he led bands of righteous army militia, drove back Japanese forces at Cheongju, and died in battle at Geumsan Mountain.
