Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThese woodblocks were carved for a book that selects poems by eminent Korean figures from the Three Kingdoms period through the early Joseon period, adding evaluation and commentary. Kim Jong-jik began compiling the work in 1473, the fourth year of King Seongjong, and completed it two years later; it was reprinted in 1531, the 26th year of King Jungjong, in Gongju, based on the already-published book but with a different arrangement. The work comprises fourteen volumes bound into two books in total: a main collection of seven volumes in one book, and a sequel collection of seven volumes in one book. It was handed down for generations within the Andong Kim clan, and bears the seals of Kim Su-in and others.
