Orijeong, standing beside the road at the foot of Chunhyang Pass, was built in 1953. It is said to be the place where Seong Chun-hyang and Yi Mong-nyong, from the classic Korean novel Chunhyangjeon, parted in sorrow. The building is a two-storey wooden tile-roofed structure consisting solely of a daecheong, an open wooden-floored hall.
