Built around 1820, this house has an I-shaped main house (anchae) and a U-shaped men's quarters (sarangchae) arranged to form an overall square courtyard. The main house is a double-row house (gyeopjip) made up of front and rear rows. The front row contains a sangbang [a multipurpose room] and the main bedroom (anbang), while the rear row originally comprised a back room, a storage room (dojangbang), and a rear sangbang; today the storage room has been removed and the rear sangbang enlarged to take its place. The men's quarters is connected to the main house and originally contained a wooden-floored hall and rooms, but all of it has now been converted into rooms. To the right of the main house stands a small family shrine, and behind it lies a garden known as the archery target ground, once used for archery practice.
