This is a myomak, a tomb-keeper's house, built near the grave of Min Yeong-hwi to look after it. Built in the late Joseon period, the house combines an L-shaped main hall (anchae) with an L-shaped men's quarters (sarangchae) facing the opposite way, together forming an enclosed, roughly square plan. In the main hall, to the left of the central wooden-floored hall (daecheong) are an upper room, a main room, and a kitchen, while a room (geonneonbang) is placed to the right. The roof above the kitchen is a gable roof whose side profile forms the shape of the character 人 (person), while the roof above the geonneonbang room is a hipped-and-gabled roof shaped like the character 八 (eight). The sarangchae consists of a storeroom, two rooms, and a kitchen; as with the main hall, its roof is gabled on one side and hipped-and-gabled on the other. The whole house is enclosed by an earthen wall topped with roof tiles.
