This shrine enshrines a portrait of General Kang Min-cheom (?–1021) of Goryeo and holds memorial rites for him. He passed the civil service examination under King Mokjong, and when the Jurchen invaded in 1012, the third year of King Hyeonjong, he repelled them in the Yeongil and Cheongha areas. In 1018, the ninth year of King Hyeonjong, when the Khitan general Sobaeap led an army of 100,000 troops in invasion, he served as deputy commander under General Gang Gam-chan and made a great contribution to crushing the enemy. For this achievement he was appointed Eungyangsangjanggun-juguk in 1019, the tenth year of King Hyeonjong, and was later honoured with the title Chuseongchiriikdae-gongsin, a title conferred on meritorious subjects. Within the shrine grounds stands a spirit road stele, a memorial stele erected on behalf of the deceased, which was raised by his descendants in 1910.
