Gunchangji Site

This is the site of a granary where provisions for the army were stored during the Baekje period, located at the centre of Busosanseong Fortress on the eastern side of Busosan Mountain. The Gunchangji site came to light in 1915, when burnt grain was discovered underground, and two excavations in 1981 and 1982 established the scale of the building site in detail. The granary, first established in the Baekje period, appears to have been used again during the Joseon period.
