These are stone pagodas and pagoda components scattered across Gapdun-ri in Nam-myeon and Sangnam-ri in Sangnam-myeon, Inje County, comprising three groups in total. The first is the Five-story Stone Pagoda in Gapdun-ri, which has a five-story pagoda body set upon a two-tiered platform; the first-, second- and third-story body stones and the fifth-story roof stone were newly made and fitted in when the pagoda was restored. The lower platform is carved with niche-shaped motifs, while the upper platform bears carved pillar shapes and an inscription. The roof stones of each story curve slightly upward at the four corners and have three-tiered eaves supports on their undersides. An inscription on the upper platform records the second year of King Jeongjong of Goryeo (1036), making the pagoda an important source for research into Goryeo-period stone pagodas and Buddhist history. The second is the Three-story Stone Pagoda in Gapdun-ri, located about 700 metres from Gapdun Elementary School. It was newly restored in 1988, combining a platform partly surviving at its present site with a pagoda body that had been kept at Gapdun Elementary School; as the stone material, style and size differ, the parts are thought to come from different pagodas. At present the second-story roof stone and the third-story body stone are missing. Pillar shapes are carved on the body stone of each story, and the roof stones have thick, gently curving eaves that rise sharply at the four corners, with three-tiered eaves supports on their undersides. Although some components are missing, the style of the roof stones suggests the pagoda was erected in the Goryeo period. The third is the pagoda components from Sangnam-ri, consisting of five pieces: a fragment of the lower platform, the central stone of the upper platform, the first-story body stone, a body-stone fragment, and a roof-stone fragment. Judging from the style of the platform and roof stones, these components show characteristics of the late Unified Silla period, but with only these parts surviving, a full restoration is not possible.
