This book is a document showing how a piece of property was moved between hermitages within the same temple complex for the management of Jeokmyeolbogung Hall, the centre of the Buddhist faith at Odaesan Mountain, and it also lists the temple's monks at the time, so that the state of temples throughout the province in the late Joseon period can be examined. In 1825, the twenty-fifth year of King Sunjo of Joseon, a list was drawn up recording the permanent transfer of paddy fields belonging to Seodae, the western platform of Odaesan Mountain, to Jungdae, the central platform. It also records the Odaesan Jeokmyeolbogung Bullyang-yeongi, an account, written out of concern for the decline of Jeokmyeolbogung Hall where the Buddha's dharma body eternally resides, of how monks took the lead in gathering donors and recording their contributions, together with the names of the nearby temples and monks who joined in this same cause. This book was compiled in 1825, the twenty-fifth year of King Sunjo of Joseon.
