These tombs stand at the top of a ridge that curves like a bow, running north–south behind the village of Dwinmosil in Sinyeon-ri. A total of fifteen tombs are distributed here; Tomb No. 9 has a pyramid-shaped mound with a ditch encircling its base. Inside the mounds, three wooden coffin tombs (neolmudeom, burials in earthen pits) and four jar tombs (dokmudeom) were identified, the jar tombs using joined-jar, lidded-jar, and single-jar methods. Artefacts recovered include earthenware, iron fragments, and jade ornaments, and beneath the mounds four dwelling sites from the Proto-Three Kingdoms period, built before the tombs, were identified. Based on the artefacts and construction methods, the tombs are thought to have been built sometime between the early and late 4th century. The Sinyeon-ri tombs are an important site: the overlapping excavation of settlement remains and tombs of different periods in the same location provides material for understanding the ideological background of the groups who built the tombs.
