This shrine houses the memorial tablet of General Park Sin-yong, a loyal subject during the reign of King Injo of Joseon (r. 1623-1649). To this day, in honour of his spirit of loyalty, the shrine keeps his official robes and holds ancestral rites each spring and autumn. General Park Sin-yong served as a seonjeon-gwan, a royal officer responsible for relaying military orders, and died in battle after throwing himself into the fighting while leading his troops. The court granted him a set of official robes at the time, and his descendants preserved and cared for them; later, in the late Joseon period, a building was erected to house the robes, named Yuuigak, where memorial rites were then held, and the story of these events was carved onto a stone monument. The building is built in the form of a shrine, its gate in the three-bay sammun style with the central bay raised higher than the two side bays, and the whole is enclosed by a wall.
