This is a stone bridge over the Jucheongang River, which forms the boundary between Dong-eup and Daesan-myeon in Changwon. Also called 'Junamsaedari', it connects Pansin village in Dong-eup with Godeungpo village in Daesan-myeon. The bridge was built by piling stones on both banks at intervals and laying several flat stone slabs across the top. According to legend, more than 800 years ago residents on both sides of the river carried stones over four metres long down from the peak of Jeongbyeongsan Mountain to build the bridge. Most of it collapsed in a torrential downpour in 1969 and was restored in 1996; the exact date and circumstances of its original construction remain unknown.
