These are three ancient tombs distributed along the ridge of a hill north of Bonchon village in Geumji-ri, Sijong-myeon, known locally as the Horse Tomb, the General's Tomb and the Groom's Tomb; all three were looted during the Japanese colonial period. Tomb No. 1, the Horse Tomb, sits on the summit of the hill about 250 m north of Bonchon village. Its mound survives in relatively good condition, though it was somewhat altered when a Pungsan Hong clan family burial ground was built on its south-western side. The mound is circular in plan, 15 m in diameter and 1.8 m high. Tomb No. 2, the General's Tomb, lies about 150 m south of Tomb No. 1. It survives relatively well, although part of the mound was damaged when the road to its west was widened, and traces of the old road remain to its east. The mound appears square in plan but was confirmed to be circular by survey. It is about 21 m in diameter and 3 m high, with a flat area roughly 10 m across at its summit, where three sunken pits are found. Tomb No. 3, the Groom's Tomb, lies about 70 m south of Tomb No. 2. Most of the mound has now been destroyed as the surrounding land was cleared for fields, leaving only part of it intact. According to reference records, its mound was circular in plan, 13 m in diameter and 2 m high.
