This is the burial site of Nam Hwi (?–1454), posthumous title Sogan, a civil official of the early Joseon period. He married Jeong Seon Gongju, the fourth daughter of King Taejong, and was enfeoffed as Lord Uisan; in 1418, the year King Sejong ascended the throne, he became Dongji Chongje, and the following year, Panhanseongbusa, governor of the capital, Hanseong. In 1425 he served as Pyeongyang Seonwisa, a royal reception envoy, and travelled to Ming China on that mission, and he subsequently served three further times as seonwisa. The present burial ground has his tomb and the princess's tomb side by side as a pair, with a ring of stones encircling the lower part of each mound. Around them are arranged other stone fixtures, including a memorial stele and a pair of stone pillars (mangjuseok).
