This is a stupa standing on a small peak behind Gwangdeoksa Temple, enshrining the sari, Buddhist relics, of Jinsan Hwasang. Jinsan Hwasang was a monk of the Unified Silla period who rebuilt this temple during the reign of King Heungdeok. The stupa is bell-shaped: a square platform rises from a low base stone, supporting a bell-shaped body. Carved on the body is the inscription 'Jinsan Hwasang' (珍山和尙), identifying whose relics it holds. At the top, a finial in the shape of a flower bud, carved from the same stone as the body, rises above it. It is a work of the late Unified Silla period, with no part given any special ornamentation.
