This is a mountain fortress located in Mulgeum-ri, Mulgeum-eup, Yangsan-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, said to have been built by the Japanese general Date Masamune during the Japanese invasions of Korea (Imjin War). The summit of the mountain was cut away and large stones were used to build the fortress, which served as a base of operations. It is unusual in that two fortifications were built, to the east and west, in line with the terrain, with routes connecting the two allowing passage between them.
