Chimnyujeong Pavilion, Yeonggwang
KOGL Type 4Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.kr

Chimnyujeong in Yeonggwang is an open-sided pavilion with all four sides left open, valued for its historical and locational significance and for its architectural form — particularly its distinctive '+'-shaped framing, in which naturally curved chungnyang (secondary beams) rest at both ends atop a naturally curved main beam. As a late Joseon-period pavilion with a confirmed construction record dating to 1876, it stands at the centre of the Confucian cultural landscape of a traditional village, together with memorial gates (jeongnyeo) and other pavilions.
