This is a traditional Korean-style tiled house owned by Jeong Dae-yeong. The building has a straight, ㅡ-shaped floor plan, measuring seven and a half kan across the front and two and a half kan along the side (a kan being the traditional unit for measuring the bays of a building). The roof is a hip-and-gable roof (paljak-jibung), which, seen from the side, takes the shape of the Chinese character 八 (meaning "eight"). Starting from the main gate, the rooms are arranged in the order of kitchen, two rooms, a wooden-floored hall (maru), and the room across the hall (geonneonbang).
