This jae (memorial hall for ancestral rites) was built near the tomb by the descendants of Kim Ho and Kim Gye-hwi to honour them. The building has four bays across the front and two bays in depth, with a paljak (hip-and-gable) roof that forms the shape of the Chinese character for "eight" (八) when viewed from the side. The right-hand bay is a kitchen, the middle two bays are rooms, and the left-hand bay is a daecheong (wooden-floored hall), with a broad wooden floor laid across the front of the building. The exact date of construction is unknown, but the building follows traditional hanok style and shows an unusual internal layout for a memorial hall, making it valuable material for the study of hanok architecture.
