Eouijeong, in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, is a well said to be where King Sejong the Great came to Onyang to treat an eye ailment; it is also known as Eocheon or Eojeongsu. The well's original form has changed: granite stones that had once been scattered around its upper part were gathered together and used to restore it as a square structure about 120m long and 0.5m high. This facility is unusually large and distinctive compared with ordinary wells. According to accounts handed down among local residents, the stone used to build the well bore an inscription reading "Eocheon".
