KOGL Type 1Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.kr

The rock-carved Buddha triad stands on a hill ridge north of Hasong village, about 3km toward Daejeon from the centre of Yeonsan-myeon, Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province. The triad of standing Buddhas is carved in fine lines on a vertical granite rock face 4.3m high and 3.5m wide; the central main Buddha is 3.2m tall, and the attendant Buddha on the right is 1.23m tall. No document or record conveys the date or origin of the carving, but it is presumed to have been made during the Goryeo dynasty.
