Geumsan Mountain Yonghwa-ri Dolmen
금산용화리고인돌 · 錦山龍化里고인돌

Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThe three dolmens are arranged in a line on a hillside, but they have been severely disturbed, so that only the capstones now remain. Dolmen No. 2 in particular, which lies next to a field, appears to have had its structure damaged by cultivation, and even its capstone has been split. The form of the dolmens is too badly damaged to determine with certainty, but since no trace of supporting stones has been found, they are presumed to have been of the capstone type, in which the capstone rests directly on the ground without supporting stones. The capstones are oval or square and relatively small, measuring around 150-280 cm. Some twenty-odd stone knives and stone arrowheads are said to have been excavated near the dolmens. The surrounding area is now either cultivated as fields or occupied by private graves.
