This is one of the houses of the Bannam Park clan; according to oral testimony, it was built around 1923. The house was originally a thatched kkachigumeongjip (a traditional house type with a ridge vent, literally a "magpie-hole house") amid Sudori's mix of tiled and thatched houses, but it was converted to a tile roof during a roof-improvement project in 1975. It is a relatively small kkachigumeongjip, three bays across the front and two bays deep. The layout places the sarangbang (men's quarters), bongdang (an earthen-floored hall) and kitchen at the front, with the witbang (upper room), maru (wooden-floored hall) and anbang (women's main room) arranged at the rear. A distinctive feature of this house is that the sarangbang occupies the spot where a stable would normally be, and doors opening to the outside are set into the front and side of the sarangbang and into the side of the upper room, giving the house an open character.
