Yeongeun-jeongsa is located in Dongho Village, Ungnyang-myeon, a clan village of the Yeonan Yi family, and shares a wall with the lower side of Donghori Yi Clan Old House, a provincial cultural heritage material. In 1884, Yi Jun-hak, who held the post of chambong, a minor honorary government post, gave this house to his second son, Yi Hyeon-seok, known by the pen name Yeongeun, as his share of the family property. The house consists of three buildings: the anchae (main hall), the sarangchae (men's quarters) and the gotganchae (storehouse). On a rectangular site running east to west, the gate, the sarangchae and the gotganchae are arranged in a row, while the anchae is placed at a right angle to these two buildings, between the sarangchae and the gotganchae.
