Injijae, rebuilt in 1898, shows no outstanding features in its timber-dressing or structural technique, but it is notable for placing a book-storage space behind the central wooden-floored hall, for a floor plan of the gyeopjip (double-depth house) type with well-developed front and rear eaves extensions, and for the strongly decorative character of its elevations. These traits reflect well the tendencies of hanok in the early modern period and clearly show the characteristics of jaesil (ancestral ritual hall) architecture in the Sancheong region at the end of the 19th century.
