Changnangjeongsa, a jeongsa or scholar's retreat, was built in 1900, the fourth year of the Gwangmu era of the Korean Empire, by descendants of the clan, to commemorate the virtue and scholarly conduct of Yi Je-gyeom (pen name Duneung, 1683-1742), the second son of Yi Dong-pyo (pen name Na-eun). It is said to have been named Changnangjeongsa because Yi Je-gyeom changed his pen name to Changnang in his later years.
